We believe that flowers and gardening, much like golf, help strengthen friendships among young girls. We are excited to invite you to our first Girls’ Golf enrichment session of the year, titled “Flower Power,” which will take place at Burghley Park Golf Club on Saturday, April 5th.
All girls aged six and older, regardless of their prior golfing experience, are welcome to join us for this event. Participants will engage in five themed stations designed to enhance their skills and enjoyment of the game.
All of our sessions aim to make learning the game enjoyable, social, and less intimidating for girls who are just starting out or want to play with others who share their interest in golf.
Our girl-friendly golf programs:
– Provide gender-specific programming and activities tailored for girls
– Include social and non-golf opportunities to help create lasting friendships
– Offer positive female role models and mentors
– Allow girls to take on leadership roles by volunteering as mentors
– Inspire girls to lead active and healthy lifestyles
These initiatives help girls:
– Feel more comfortable learning and developing their skills
– Build confidence in their abilities
– Embrace self-expression and communication
– Engage more readily in group activities
Registration is free for this event at Burghley Park Golf Club. We look forward to seeing you there!
**The stations include:**
– Flower Bed Putting
– Potting Shed Chipping
– Full Swing with Hettie
– Exercise Station
– Craft Station: Making a Flower Power Ball Marker, Decorating a Plant Pot, and Sowing Flowers.
