About The Events

Holiday Golf 2023

Burghley Park Golf Club host our golf camps. Our team makes everyone welcome as they enjoy learning how to play golf or improve their golfing techniques.

Our holiday camp program is a beautiful way for children to gain confidence, build friendships, and develop life skills without them knowing while learning the game of golf.

We welcome boys and girls aged seven plus only for the day camp, with or without previous golf experience.

(We have all clubs to borrow if required).

All the holiday golf camps complement the weekly golf development sessions of the US Kids Golf Player Pathway coaching programme. So the children on the programme can continue on their development journey, and likewise, newcomers can also begin the journey.  The children on the programme can earn their pin badges and complete the scoring levels on the golf course. If you would like to enrol your child on the programme so they too can earn pin badges, you can do so at registration. (As a one-off, select add the US Kids Golf Player Pathway programme to your order. After deciding which day you wish your child to attend, the form will ask you if you would like to add).

Children love having fun, being outdoors and being challenged as they learn something new. They also love to socialise and make new friends.

Our golf holiday camps do all this and more.

The golf camps are held at Burghley Park Golf Club, Stamford are fully inclusive; our team makes everyone welcome as they enjoy learning how to play golf or improve their golfing techniques.

Please note:

Age seven plus only for the day camp, with or without previous golf experience.

 

Itinerary*

 

9.00 am – Final drop off in top car park.

9.10 am – Welcome and warm-up games.

9.30 am – Putting.

10.30 am – Around the green.

11.30 am – Long game.

12.30 pm – Collection of all morning-only attendees prompt.

12.45 pm – Lunch in the clubhouse.**

1.30 pm – Preparation for the on-course session.

2.00 pm – Play on the academy course.

4.00 pm – Collection from the top car park.

** Dietary requirements will be requested prior to the camp.

U.S. Kids Golf Academy

We run the holiday golf camps in the same structure as our weekly academy coaching programme.

 

What does this mean?

If your child is already on the pathway, they can continue with their skills and challenges, aiming to gain their achievement pins and playing levels.

If your child is new to the game or junior golf at Burghley Park Golf Club, then you could register your child onto the U.S. Kids Golf Pathway Programme with us.

If you would like to register your child on this programme, please book your first holiday camp as the U.S. Kids Holiday Camp option.  (You need only do this for the first-holiday camp you register your child on.)
