Our Coaching Aim
To engage children in golf, an activity for life that will have a positive impact on their learning years and beyond.
We will achieve this with a programme that offers each child a friendly and welcoming environment where they can be themselves and have fun with other children as friendships begin and grow.
A Fully Structured programme with a curriculum
The Player Pathway
The US Kids Golf Academy covers all aspects of golf, which gets more involved as the child moves up through the levels. The areas covered include putting, around the green, full swing, knowledge and scoring. A keepsake booklet allows the child to re-read the technical forms and go through everything at home between sessions with you.
The full programme consists of ten levels, with three entry points. The first five levels target golf skill development; in other words, if a child passes level five, then there is a good chance they will become a golfer for life. Then levels six to ten focus on play as well as skill development. Accomplish level ten, and the child can play to a high standard.
Mastery
We all know learning a new skill, let alone ‘mastering’ it is time-consuming. The two P’s are needed in abundance – practice and patience; aren’t they excellent skills for a child to develop as they learn to play golf?
Lincs Junior Golf Academy understands that children learn best when having fun. Based on our knowledge, there will be plenty of time when a child may feel they are not improving; we need to ensure they stick at it. Game-based learning is what our coaching sessions are about carefully crafted games, that engage the children as they enjoy playing (the process) rather than thinking about results (outcome).

Attending Made Easy
You choose which session to attend each week. We appreciate the busy lifestyles of a child – school, social and other appointments that crop up and always seem to be on a paid lesson time. Using a mobile app called Spond, we allow you to decide when your child attends their golf coaching session.
Through the app, you receive notifications when all the relevant sessions are available for you to register for. It is then on a first-come, first-served basis to register. (There is a waiting list feature, and the system notifies you if a space becomes available).
Yes, most children do tend to attend the same session each week, but it does give you an element of flexibility each week and the ability to participate in more than one session in a week if you so choose.
